Tidewater Randonneurs,

Brevet information

Preregistration is not required but letting us know you plan to ride an event is VERY helpful. Also, in case of a change in the ride, those who have advised us of their plan will be able to be contacted. Again RUSA membership is MANDATORY.

There is no cost to participate. Volunteers, however, do appreciate a suggested donation to partially cover their expenses [Including the newly implemented $5 fee from RUSA (due to a marked increase in the cost of insurance), which is charged to the RBA for every rider participating.] Day of event registration begins 1 hour prior to start with inspection of lighting for the 300,400 and 600k events. Example of reflective gear here

100k start is 9AM, 200 starts at 7AM, while 300, 400, and 600k start time 6AM. Location for all these is Holiday Inn Express 1018 Centerbrooke Ln. Suffolk, VA

Adequate front and rear lighting and reflective gear mandatory for all except the 100k and  200k rides

The "Suggested donations" are as listed below and are unchanged for 2020. Be aware that starting January 1, 2020 RUSA will charge each RBA $5.00 per rider per ride. Donations have always been intended to be a way for riders to help defray the costs incurred by volunteers, including the RBA.
